With 200+ gigs a year and countless hours playing, I simply wore out my custom acoustic guitar. Steve did a great job hand fitting a new bone saddle as well as leveling and crowning the frets for me. He put my guitar back to like-new playing condition. Thanks Steve! Denny |
Spending time in Los Angeles and Europe I can pick where I have my work done. With the prices of vintage guitars going through the roof, I felt it time to retire my vintage Strats from live performance and have some replicas made to my specs as stage guitars. I had two custom made to fit the bill and when I received them the necks were in need of fret leveling/dressing as well as nuts cut and necks buffed out to a mirror gloss. Steve did a superb job, as well as working with me to make sure the work was done to my expectations. His work is hands down 'World Class' and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a pro job done.
Thank you Steve for making my dream guitars a joy to play, Iain Ashley Hersey |
Hey Steve,
I'm writing to tell you how incredibly pleased I am with the work you
and your staff (and network) did on my Guild X-350. It's a unique beast
and restoring something of its vintage was no small task. Especially
considering the scope of the work needed. When I brought the guitar into
your shop I could scarcely look at it I was so depressed about the
damage that had been done. And now, not only doesn't it depress me, I
think it's better than it was before it had its ill-fated run-in with a
spilled soda.
I have many guitars, which I rotate beside my desk so I can strum a
little during idle moments. Recently I've brought out the Guild and I
don't think I'll be rotating it back into its case for a long time.
It's like having a new guitar.
Thanks again, Paul Woodfin
