Ryan has been practicing and performing music for over twenty years. Originally from Sabattus, he attended the University of Vermont where he earned a BA in Music with concentrations in violin performance and collaborative piano. Ryan has performed with various groups, including the Portland Youth Orchestra, the UVM Symphony Orchestra and the Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra. His recent work includes music directing at Colchester High School and collaborating with the project Koanesce. Ryan is passionate about collaborative music and focuses on inspiring creativity and musical independence. By tailoring his instruction to the individual goals of each student, he effectively assists musicians of all levels, from beginners to those looking to sharpen existing skills .
